Nonwoven geotextile is the workhorse of every lining system: it separates, filters, drains, reinforces and protects. We manufacture PET filament, staple and PP geotextile from 100 to 800 g/m², certified to GB/T 17638 (staple) and GB/T 17639 (filament), with tensile strength test reports on every batch.

How to Choose Weight (g/m²)

  • 200–300 g/m²: filtration and reverse filtration
  • 300–400 g/m²: road and foundation separation
  • 400 g/m² +: reinforcement and high-stress applications
  • 400–600 g/m²: geomembrane protection layer (under and over the liner)

Weight is not everything — always verify tensile strength, puncture resistance and apparent opening size (AOS) against the project requirement. Higher weight means higher cost, so spec by function, not by habit.

Filament vs Staple vs PP

  • PET filament (continuous): uniform strength in all directions, higher elongation — first choice for filtration and protection.
  • PET staple: economical all-rounder for separation and drainage.
  • PP geotextile: good alkali resistance, suited to specific chemical conditions.

Typical Applications

  • Road, railway and foundation separation layers
  • Slope protection and reverse filtration
  • Protection layer above and below geomembranes (prevents puncture)
  • Canal and reservoir bank protection
